Employing Status-Neutral Approaches to End the HIV Epidemic Series: Addressing Social Determinants of Health through a Status-Neutral Lens
On February 8, NASTAD hosted the third webinar in the series "Employing Status-Neutral Approaches to End the HIV Epidemic". The webinar, "Addressing Social Determinants of Health through a Status-Neutral Lens," highlighted status-neutral approaches for addressing social determinants of health. Presenters discussed the impact of social determinants of health on HIV prevention and care services and the communities most likely to be affected by the HIV epidemic. Health departments including the Chicago Department of Public Health, DC Health, and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control shared how they are applying status-neutral actions to reduce HIV-related health disparities and inequities.
