Strategic Implementation Activities for Accelerating Ending the HIV Epidemic Efforts Series: Leveraging Partnerships and Funding to Support EHE and the Syndemics
On August 3, NASTAD hosted the third webinar in a four-part webinar series, "Strategic Implementation Activities for Accelerating Ending the HIV Epidemic Efforts.” The series highlights innovative approaches currently being employed by Phase 1 Jurisdictions for Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) activities. Presenters share strategies for advancing EHE activities across the four pillars, expanding PrEP awareness and uptake, maximizing funding and partnerships for addressing the syndemics and supporting implementation efforts through a status neutral framework.
The third webinar, “Leveraging Partnerships and Funding to Support EHE and the Syndemics" featured the work of EHE Phase 1 jurisdictions across the country, including the Tennessee Department of Public Health, Louisiana Department of Health and Washington State Department of Health. Presenters shared how their jurisdictions are utilizing community partnerships and weaving various funding sources for better collaboration and integration across their HIV, STIs, viral hepatitis, and harm reduction programs.
