Rey Cordova's role is Manager, Surveillance and Prevention Integration on the Prevention team supporting NASTAD’s Capacity Building Assistance (CBA) program. Rey supports technical assistance (TA) efforts on integrated HIV prevention activities, and the implementation of high-impact HIV prevention programs. Prior to joining NASTAD, Rey served as the Manager of Technical Assistance at Howard Brown Health, where he managed a team that partnered with the Chicago Department of Public Health to support the COVID-19 response across 28 hospitals and federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) in Chicago. He has previously done significant work in the areas of HIV engagement and retention in care, education, and advocacy. Rey received his M.S.W. with a specialization in Children and Families from the University of Illinois Chicago. Rey is based in Chicago.
