Rachel Browning, M.P.H

Rachel Browning, M.P.H., they/them, is a senior manager on the Health Equity team. They support the development and implementation of health and racial equity initiatives and activities across NASTAD's programmatic teams and amongst NASTAD's membership. These activities and initiatives include providing technical assistance to NASTAD membership jurisdictions, assisting programmatic teams with identifying areas to advance racial equity, co-leading the implementation of NASTAD's health equity strategic pillar, and co-leading the NASTAD Anti-Racism in Public Health subcommittee (membership-led group). Prior to NASTAD, Rachel worked in the non-profit sector leading projects focused on sexual and reproductive health access and education. Rachel holds an M.P.H in Global Health from Boston University and a B.A. in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh.
