Angela Johnson, M.P.H, C.H.E.S

Angela Johnson (AN - juhl - uh JAHN - suhn) is the Director, Development and Strategic Partnerships. She is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing funding to support NASTAD’s mission and its program, policy, and overall operations. Prior to this role, Angela served as the Director, Prevention, leading NASTAD’s CDC-funded technical assistance portfolio, and has worked in domestic and global HIV prevention for over 15 years. Angela received her M.P.H. in Behavioral Science and Health Education from Emory University, and a B.A. in African/African-American Studies and English Language/Literature from the University of Virginia.
