Alison Gaye

Alison (al-ih-SIN) Gaye is a senior manager on the Drug User Health Team who is currently focusing on Strengthening the Capacity of SSPs to Respond to COVID-19. This program aims to strengthen the capacity of SSPs to serve as critically essential access points for COVID-19 services. Prior to NASTAD, Alison worked for the Louisiana Department of Health as the first statewide syringe service program coordinator. In addition to governmental public health work, Alison has managed the largest SSP in the state of Louisiana and assisted in the development of the first Gender Affirming Care clinic in Louisiana.
