NASTAD and The Well Project: EHE and Women Across the Gender Spectrum
NASTAD is proud to collaborate with The Well Project, a non-profit organization focused on HIV prevention and care for women across the gender spectrum.
The Well Project released "Providing for Women's Well-Being: A Sexual Health Conversation Guide for Clinicians." This guide includes shareable infographics and discussion points created in collaboration with experts on provider engagement. These educational tools are part of the SHE/HER/THEY (Sexual Health Education/HIV Empowerment Resources/Treating HIV Equally) programming focused on improving engagement in care, health outcomes, and well-being for women living with and vulnerable to HIV.
In addition, as a part of their ongoing webinar series, Leadership Exchange LIVE, The Well Project hosted “Black Women Living with and Vulnerable to HIV in the US: Needs, Priorities, and Optimal Care” which featured a conversation about uplifting the unique needs and priorities and insights of Black women living with and vulnerable to HIV, with an emphasis on the US South. It also highlighted optimal care for women and provided participants with best practices to improve their capacity to serve the needs of women living with and vulnerable to HIV.
