San Antonio, Texas

Registration is now open for the NASTAD inaugural hybrid workshop, being held through our Capacity Building Assistance (CBA) program. This workshop will occur through two interactive sessions, either in-person or over Zoom.

Explore where stigma manifests in both formal and informal HIV Prevention program policy, examine the ways that specific policy issues can affect HIV prevention programs across Southern jurisdictions, and identify best practices surrounding stigma reduction to inform the development of culturally sensitive program policy. The virtual and in-person space is designed for health department HIV prevention program staff and CBO staff. The workshop is open ONLY to participants from CDC directly funded health departments and CBOs in the Southern CBA region of the U.S. (including AL, AR, Baltimore, DC, DE, FL, GA, Houston, KY, LA, MD, MS, NC, OK, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WV).
