In this webinar, NBHRN overviewed their goals, approaches, and upcoming mentorship program for Black harm reductionists. Co-Director Joy Rucker and Monique Tula, national consultant, spoke about the network’s formation and shared recommendations and opportunities for public health partners to advance the Black harm reduction workforce. They also walked through the mentorship program application process and answered questions about participation.
The National Black Harm Reduction Network acts through advocacy and policy, network building, technical assistance, and subject matter expertise to support the success, development, and collective power of Black harm reductionists and Black people and communities working to end the War on Drugs.
