Virtual Learning Collaborative (VLC)

HepTAC Virtual Learning Collaborative (VLC)

The VLC is a virtual learning community and training series designed to support viral hepatitis health department staff implement the viral hepatitis prevention and surveillance activities set forth in CDC’s Integrated Viral Hepatitis Surveillance and Prevention Funding for Health Departments (CDC-RFA-PS21-2103) and is open to all state, territorial, and local health departments.

VLC Year 2

The VLC Year 2 sessions are taking place from September 2022 through July 2023. The format for Y2 of the VLC will consist of two monthly sessions; the first will be a presentation and the second will be discussion based with breakout sessions to allow for participants to directly engage with presenters and/or SMEs. Sessions will range from 60-90 minutes depending on the topics and begin at 3:00 PM ET.

Kickoff Meeting

On August 10 and 11, 2021, NASTAD, in collaboration with CDC, hosted the Viral Hepatitis Prevention and Surveillance Virtual Learning Collaborative Kickoff. This virtual event gathered close to 200 participants from health departments to provide core capacity training for viral hepatitis prevention and surveillance and featured sessions directed at building the core competencies of participants to facilitate effective implementation of activities under CDC's new viral hepatitis cooperative agreement Integrated Viral Hepatitis Surveillance and Prevention Funding for Health Departments or PS21-2103.
