Once the objectives have been developed and stakeholders identified and engaged, health department planners should work to finalize an agenda for the stigma conversation that can be reviewed and shared with a diverse group of stakeholders for comment and feedback. Agendas should ensure that each activity is linked to an objective and that there are diverse speakers, presenters, and/or engaging activities for audience members. While Stigma Conversations can be planned for multiple days, NASTAD recognizes that limited resources and staff capacity may limit the Stigma Conversation to one day, a series of meetings or even virtual meetings depending on resources available. NASTAD has included an agenda development tool to help in planning for the health department’s Stigma Conversations.
