2023 Annual Meeting

NASTAD's 2023 Annual Meeting will be held at the Omni Shoreham in Washington, DC, from May 21-24, 2023. The theme of this year’s meeting is Access, Engage, & Activate: Recentering Key Populations. The meeting will address the challenges and opportunities health departments are currently facing in administering HIV and hepatitis programs. There will be many opportunities during the meeting for meaningful exchange among peers, partners, and federal agency representatives on issues of importance to programs.

COVID-19 Precautions

The safety of our attendees remains our main priority. As such, we encourage you to self-isolate and not attend the Annual Meeting in-person if you have experienced the following symptoms in the last 48 hours: Fever or chills; Cough; Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing; Fatigue; Muscle or body aches; Headache; New loss of taste or smell; Sore throat; Congestion or runny nose; Nausea or vomiting; and Diarrhea. 

If you test positive for COVID-19 within two weeks prior to the Annual Meeting, we recommend you take a rapid COVID-19 test to make sure you test negative prior to attending the meeting.

You may continue to follow masking and physical distancing protocols during the meeting if you so choose and we expect all participants to be supportive of others’ choices.

If you need a COVID-19 test during the meeting, please visit one of the following locations for a test. Registration will also have a very limited number of tests if needed.
