Supporting BIPOC Equity Champions
The Advancing Organizational Equity (AOE) Toolkit, highlights the experiences of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) leading and engaging in equity work within their health departments. And provides recommendations to health departments to create healing-centered and supportive spaces for BIPOC Equity Champions engaging in equity work. The recommendations featured in this section have been formulated from key informant interviews and survey responses from health department officials from eight jurisdictions.
