Emerging Community Leaders Program

Emerging Community Leaders Program logo

The Emerging Community Leaders Program (ECLP) is a transformational leadership and organizational capacity program for people working in community-based organizations serving people who are living with HIV/AIDS, living with viral hepatitis, or people who use drugs.

ECLP serves as a space, rooted in social justice, for CBO staff to engage in critical conversations about job advancement; overcoming institutional barriers to health and racial equity; managing emotions and burnout; creating healing centered workplaces; successful staff and project management; strategies to advance organizational sustainability; effective communication; and more.

NASTAD recognizes the need to increase the capacity of emerging leaders in CBOs and seeks to equip them with skills, mentors, and introspection to help them create concrete strategies to address organizational sustainability while advancing in their varied personal career trajectories.

The application cycle for the 2025 Emerging Community Leadership Program (ECLP) is open until September 18, 2024. Interested applicants can apply here.
